My Experience at Little Beach Co
Tasmania holds a very special place in my heart - I used to come here on vacations as a kid. So when I decided it was time to return, I felt eager to get planning my holiday in Tasmania.
I came across Little Beach Co. and was taken aback by the unparalleled scenery and nature-immersive experiences. From the white glamping tents to the modern villas, I loved how they appeared to be nestled in amongst the bushland.
After arriving, I took a stroll around the property to see what was on offer. Lush plants and pristine views left me in a state of awe. I love it when a property respects the environment. But this place seemed to celebrate it. It’s almost as if the tents and villas were designed to elevate the surrounding landscape.
As I wound my way through the green-lined paths, I locked eyes with the scenic viewing platform. What a perfect spot to watch the sunset from, I thought.
The steaming hot sauna also stood out. Perched on the clifftop, it provided picture-perfect views of the green mountains and azure blue ocean.
I could hear the kookaburras laughing in the distance and the local wallabies rustling through the bushes. I loved how Little Beach Co’s set-up blended beautifully with the native flora and fauna.
After soaking up the views, I trodded down to the red rock pools. As I made my way through the maze of circle-shaped boulders, I caught glimpses of little fish and feisty crabs. We stumbled upon a stunning stretch of white sand, and I couldn’t help but dip my toes in the water.
As the ocean roared below me, I peered back up at Little Beach Co. The bright blue sky posed the perfect contrast against the contemporary edifices. From here, I felt like I had the ultimate vantage point of the east coast. I could even spot Freycinet National Park in the distance. Wowee.
When the sun departed for the day, I lit up the fireplace and got ready to head outside the villa. I spent the evening in the wood-fired hot tub, stargazing with a sense of sheer excitement.
I spent the following few days reading by the fire, devouring local produce and spotting wildlife left, right and centre. Among the wallabies, lizards, birds and snakes, I heard that you may even be able to spot dolphins and whales (depending on the time of year).
On my final morning, I went to meet with one of the owners, Lynne. We had a heartfelt chat about everything that went into the property, from finding resources to sustainability. I loved hearing her story and what’s driven her to shape this spot into what it is today.
There are many places for glamping in Tasmania, but I believe Little Beach Co. is among the best of the best. The location serves as an ideal base for exploring Tasmania’s top spots like the Bay of Fires, St. Helen’s and Wineglass Bay.
Topped with amenities like The Barn, Bathhouse and sauna, there’s a mix of something to suit every type of traveller. For me, it was such a nature-immersive experience, and that’s the real reason why I would choose to return again and again. They work incredibly hard to intertwine sustainability and luxury into an unforgettable experience.
I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, resorts and accommodations in this part of Australia. After doing a lot of research, I can honestly say that Little Beach Co. is one of the best places to stay in Tasmania.
